A reading-room window onto the sky
Mystic Cards
A Mystic Card takes the constellation riding highest over you right now, where you stand, and hands you the old Greek myth behind its name, painted in our own hand, with the constellation's realstars laid over it in their true positions. Draw what's near, or draw at random.
It isn't a fortune. It's an invitation, sit with an ancient story for a minute and notice what it echoes in your own week. The constellation overhead changes through the night and the seasons; or pick any of the 33 below.

A Mystic Card · the constellation over you now
Pegasus
the winged horse
Born of gorgon blood, a white flash against the stone. Pegasus, wings unfurling, a wild heart beating for the sky. His hooves kissed the earth once, twice, and fresh water sprang, a cool offering. But the air was always calling, a whisper in his mane. Even with a rider, a human weight upon his back, his gaze was forever upward, toward the silent, star-dusted threshold where he truly belonged, shedding the ground. He never asked to be held.
Don't climb to prove a point, fly because it's yours to do.
