- The Moon
A fog on the lake at sunrise, and the lake itself is not sure where it ends and the sky begins. That is the inside of you, most days. Neptune is the mist and Jupiter is the wide patient water, and you live where they meet, where the edges go soft, where everything you feel is also a little bit everyone else's. You catch moods like weather. You walk into a room and know who is sad before they say a word, and the knowing is a gift and also a tax, and you are still learning the difference between empathy and absorption. The dream lives close to the surface in you. Some days it is the surface.
Personality
Tender, imaginative, often funnier than people expect. You make the joke that lands sideways, you write the song that explains the feeling everyone had but couldn't name. Boundaries are something you have to learn the way other people learn a language, slowly, with practice, with permission to be bad at it for a while. You are the friend who shows up to the crisis without being asked, who knows what to say at the funeral, who carries a small invisible kit of comforts wherever you go. Your dreams are vivid. Your intuitions are real. Trust them more than you do.
The shadow
The water that lets you feel everything also drowns you sometimes. Escape becomes a habit, the screen, the drink, the daydream that turned into an afternoon. You can lose hours, days, years to a wish that you didn't quite commit to, because the wish was safer than the work. Worth asking, when the fog rolls in, whether you are resting in it or hiding in it. Both are allowed, sometimes. But the hiding has a cost, and you tend to pay it quietly, and nobody knows the bill came due except you.
In love
You love wide. You merge fast, sometimes before you meant to, and you have woken up inside other people's lives wondering how you got there. What heals this is choosing slowly and choosing with the body, not just the dream. The right partner sees the depth in you and doesn't try to drain it or fix it, just sits beside it. Romance is your native language, the small poem on the napkin, the playlist with the secret order, the long letter. Keep some of yourself for yourself. The shore is allowed to be private.
At work
You thrive where imagination is the engine. Art, music, healing, ministry, anything that asks you to feel into a problem and bring back something nobody had the words for yet. Office grind work dulls you, the rigid schedule, the spreadsheet without a soul. You need flexibility and you need meaning, and without them you wilt fast and quiet. Build a practice you can keep. The discipline is not the enemy of the dream, it is the bowl that holds it. Otherwise the water spills, and the gift goes nowhere, and you grieve a thing you never made.
In spirit
Your sacred is everywhere, which is the trouble and the gift. You meet the bigger picture through dream, through art, through the long walk where you stopped thinking and the answer arrived anyway. Neptune teaches dissolution, the merging of the small self into the bigger one, and you know that feeling, sometimes too well. Jupiter offers the keel, the wisdom, the steadying philosophy that keeps the boat upright. Pray however you pray, but also drink water, also eat dinner, also call the friend. The body is the boat. The boat goes where the boat goes, and you go with it.
The tarot card
The Moon is your card because the Moon is your weather. The path between the two towers, the dog and the wolf howling, the crayfish climbing out of the water, the silver light that shows shapes but not colors. The card is about the unconscious, the dream, the part of the journey that has to be walked in dim light. You know this country. You were born here. The lesson is that the path is a path, even when you cannot see all of it. Take the next step. The Moon will move with you.
