Heracles
the kneeling hero
He watches for the ones mid-labor. Overhead in summer, faint for a hero, you have to want to find him, Hercules kneels between the crown and the lyre and keeps an eye on everybody whose work is not finished. The half-built thing, the half-healed thing, the load set down for a minute but not abandoned. He knows the difference between quitting and kneeling. If you're down on one knee right now, he'd say, that counts as still in it.
Kneeling isn't quitting, take the pause your body is asking for.
