The hour after dusk when the streetlights have just come on and the trees are still black against the sky. That is your hour. You move in low light, in the in-between, in the conversation that started polite and has gone somewhere honest by the second drink. People feel you before they see you. Pluto and Mars both have hands on your shoulder, the depth and the drive, and the combination is a quiet intensity that mistakes itself for a secret. It isn't. The room knows. The room has always known. You burn slow and very hot, and what you love, you love down to the bone.
Personality
Private in a way that confuses the louder signs. You don't share for sharing's sake, you wait until the listener is the right one, until the room is the right one, and then you say the true thing and let it land. Your friendships are few and deep, and the few would walk through a wall for you, and you for them. There is a watchfulness in you. You see who someone is two beats before they show you, and you remember. Humor is sharp, often dark, mostly tender once you know the shape of it. You are not as scary as the books say. You are just paying attention with your whole chest.
The shadow
The depth you live at can turn into a held breath. You keep the wound private, you keep the resentment private, and the privacy lets it grow teeth in the dark. Loyalty turns to grip, devotion turns to control, and the line between protecting and possessing thins when you are scared. Worth asking, when you find yourself rehearsing the betrayal again, whether the rehearsal is healing you or feeding it. Some things have to be spoken to drain. The water needs a way out, or it stagnates, and the stagnation is the danger, not the depth.
In love
You love with the lights low and the door shut. Surface flirtation bores you, you want the real thing, the long talk at three in the morning, the scar story, the actual fear. You go all in or you don't go, and the people who get you go all in back, or they don't last. Jealousy is something you have to watch in yourself, not because the feeling is wrong but because the feeling can drive. What heals it is the truth, said plainly. Ask the question. Hear the answer. Stay or go from there.
At work
You thrive where the work has a real bottom to it. Therapy, investigation, research, finance, surgery, anything that requires you to look at what other people look away from. You are unafraid of the hard conversation, the difficult client, the case that nobody else will take. You can work alone for long stretches without going strange. Power dynamics, though, matter to you, and you have to choose your battles. Not every fight is yours to win. Spend your fire on the ones that change something. Walk away from the ones that just burn.
In spirit
Your sacred is transformation. You meet the bigger picture through the deaths, the small ones and the large ones, the relationship that ended, the version of you that you outgrew, the year that broke you down so something else could be built. Water teaches you in the dark, in the underground stream, in the well. Sit with the grief on purpose sometimes. Light one candle, name the thing, let yourself feel the whole size of it. Then blow the candle out. The morning is allowed to come, even after a long night.
The tarot card
Death is the card people fear and the card you, of all the signs, understand. It is not the end of the story, it is the page turning. The skeleton on the horse is walking on, and what falls off as it goes was already loose. You know this in your body. You have lived through the things smaller signs are still afraid of, and you came out the other side, scarred maybe, but standing. The lesson is gentleness. You don't have to court the endings. They will find you. Meet them without drama. Let them do their quiet work.
