ten cards opening like a lotus, the matter at the heart, eight petals around it.
10 cards
The Chinese deck's signature reading, and a cousin of the Celtic Cross. Two cards make the heart of the bloom: the matter itself, and what crosses it. Eight petals open around them, from the root beneath to the full flower of where it all leads. Read the heart first, then let the petals unfold.
Take a breath. When you're ready, draw the cards. Add an intention first if you like, or just draw.
