Refunds Policy

Overview
Brews and Bloom sells a few things that don't behave the same way at refund time, a live one-hour reading is not a printed tarot deck, and a wedding-day group reading is not either. This policy walks through each category and tells you what to expect.
The short version: if something went wrong on our end, a damaged deck, a session Dylan had to cancel, a reading that came through broken, you get your money back or a fresh one, your choice where both make sense.

Instant readings and dream interpretations
Every visitor gets a daily allowance of instant readings free. Past that, readings are lit with Wick Credits. Either way, they're delivered as a private share-token URL, a long, unguessable address only you can open.
If a reading comes through broken, empty, garbled, in the wrong voice, off-topic from your question, or it never generated at all, simply draw again, or write to us and we'll return the credits it cost.
No reading is a substitute for advice. We are not predicting your future, and we are not telling you what to do, every reading on the site is reflective, not prescriptive. A reading you didn't enjoy, or that didn't say what you hoped to hear, is still a reading; you're always welcome to draw again.
Wick Credits
Wick Credit packs that are entirely unspent can be refunded within 14 days of purchase, write to us with your order number. Once credits from a pack have been spent, the pack is no longer refundable, though any reading that failed to generate has its credits returned as described above. Wick Credits cannot be redeemed for cash, except where required by law.
Live readings with Dylan
Live readings are time on Dylan's calendar. The further out you cancel, the easier it is to refill that slot.
- Cancellations 24 or more hours before the session start time: full refund.
- Cancellations between 24 hours and 2 hours before the session start time: 50% refund.
- Cancellations within 2 hours of the session start time, no-shows, and missed sessions: no refund.
- If Dylan cancels for any reason, illness, emergency, technical failure on our side, you receive a full refund or a rescheduled session, whichever you prefer.
Live course sessions, the Mentorship and Novice Witch Training series, follow these same rules, applied per session.
To cancel or reschedule, email dylan@brews-and-bloom.com with your booking reference, or use the cancellation link in your booking confirmation email if one is included.
Group and event readings
Group and event readings, birthday parties, weddings, retreats, corporate events, require a 50% deposit at booking and the balance before the event date. These bookings hold a large block of Dylan's calendar, often weeks or months in advance, and the refund rules reflect that.
- More than 14 days before the event: the deposit is fully refundable. If you've paid the balance early, the balance is also fully refundable.
- 14 days or fewer before the event: the 50% deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance is refundable up until 48 hours before the event.
- Within 48 hours of the event: no refund on either the deposit or the balance.
- If Dylan cancels: full refund of everything paid, or a rescheduled event on a date that works for both of you.
For complicated arrangements, a wedding with a venue change, a corporate booking that needs to be moved, write to us early and we'll do what we reasonably can.
Decks
Everything in the shop is printed to order: your deck doesn't exist until you order it, and it takes 2–3 weeks to be made and shipped. Because each copy is made for you, we can't restock a returned one, so:
- Arrived damaged, defective, misprinted, or not as described: email us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue, and we will reprint it or refund you, your choice. We cover shipping both ways.
- Order not yet in production: write to us quickly and we'll cancel and refund in full. Once printing has begun we usually can't stop it.
- Changed your mind after delivery: made-to-order items aren't returnable for change of mind, but write to us anyway, if something about the deck genuinely disappointed you, we want to know, and we'll see what's fair.
How to request a refund
Send an email to dylan@brews-and-bloom.com that includes:
- Your order or booking number (you can find it in your confirmation email).
- A short description of what happened.
- A photo, if a printed item arrived damaged.
We try to respond within two business days and process approved refunds within seven business days of approval. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, and depending on your bank can take an additional few days to appear on your statement.
Stripe disputes and chargebacks
If you open a dispute or chargeback with your bank instead of writing to us first, Stripe will handle the process and we will respond to Stripe's request for information. We would much rather hear from you directly, a single email is faster, friendlier, and almost always resolves the issue without involving the banks.
If you do open a chargeback for a service or item that was delivered as described, we will share the relevant evidence with Stripe (order records, delivery confirmations, access logs for a delivered reading). Disputes filed in bad faith may result in your account being closed and refused service in the future.
