Terms of Service

Introduction and acceptance

These Terms of Service are the agreement between you and Brews and Bloom, a small tarot reading room and shop operated by Dylan W. LaRue in the United States. By using the site at brews-and-bloom.com, browsing the shop, booking a reading, requesting an instant reading or dream interpretation, signing up for the newsletter, or using the free tools, you agree to these terms.

If you don't agree, please don't use the site. If you partly agree, write to us at dylan@brews-and-bloom.com with your concerns and we'll do our best to make sense of it.

We may update these terms over time. The current version always lives at brews-and-bloom.com/terms, and the Effective date at the top tells you when it last changed.

About this service

Brews and Bloom is part reading room, part shop. We offer:

• Tarot readings in three forms, instant readings, live readings with Dylan over Google Meet, and group or event readings for parties, weddings, and retreats.
• Dream interpretations, composed in Dylan's voice.
• A deck shop selling our own tarot and oracle decks, each printed to order.
• Free tools, the card library, spreads, the Mystic Cards constellation generator, the I Ching, runes, birth chart drawing, and other small companions to a reflective practice.

The free tools are offered as-is for personal, non-commercial use. Live services and shop orders follow the additional rules in the sections below.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase anything on the site, a reading, a dream interpretation, a deck. By placing an order or booking a session you confirm that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter this agreement.

Free tools may be used by anyone old enough to navigate the web safely, but the site is not designed for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. See our Privacy Policy for more on that.

Accounts

Some features require an account. If you create one:

• Give us accurate information when you sign up.
• Sign in using the one-time email link sent to your inbox.
• Keep your login credentials private. You are responsible for activity that happens through your account.
• Let us know if you suspect your account has been used by someone else, and we will help you secure it.

We may suspend or close accounts that are used to violate these terms, to harass other people, or to defraud the shop. If we close your account, we will tell you why where we can.

Purchases and payment

Live readings with Dylan may be free or paid. Each service listing shows Free or its price before you request an appointment, including virtual, in-person, group, and event sessions. Submitting a booking request does not collect payment or use Wick Credits. For a paid service, Dylan confirms the total, payment instructions, and cancellation arrangements privately by email before you pay. Appointments remain subject to availability and confirmation. Existing bookings keep the price recorded when requested; later catalog price changes do not reprice them.

The shop accepts unpaid order requests. Submitting a request does not charge you or start production. Dylan will email you to confirm availability, shipping, any applicable tax, and the final total, along with PayPal payment instructions. Payment details are provided privately by email. If you choose to pay through PayPal, its terms and privacy practices apply to that transaction. We do not collect or store your payment card number on this website.

By submitting an order request you agree that the contact and delivery information you provide is accurate. Any payment account you later use must be yours or used with its owner's permission.

Prices on the site are in US dollars unless marked otherwise. We confirm the full service or order total before asking for payment. If an item or service is unavailable or its listing contains an error, we will contact you before proceeding; you can decline the revised quote.

Wick Credits remain available through existing balances, daily allowances, and free sign-in rewards. We do not sell new credit packs. Credits are used only for the features described on the site and cannot be redeemed for cash, except where required by law. Previously purchased balances and transaction records are preserved.

Booking live readings

Request a live reading through the site. Your request is subject to Dylan’s confirmation; submitting it does not guarantee an appointment. Virtual readings take place over Google Meet. The calendar event and meeting details are sent after Dylan confirms. For in-person readings, Dylan confirms the location, travel arrangements, and availability by email. A service marked Free has no session payment; any paid service follows its displayed price and the arrangements agreed by email.

You agree that:

• You will join the session from a place where you can speak freely and won't be interrupted.
• Any recording or public use follows the separate permission choices described below.
• You will be 18 or older.
• If you need to cancel or reschedule, you will follow the refund and rescheduling rules in our Refunds Policy.

Dylan reserves the right to end a session early if a client is abusive, intoxicated to the point of incoherence, or otherwise making the conversation unsafe. In that case the session is treated as completed and no refund is due.

Recordings and public use

Sessions may be recorded with each participant's prior permission. Booking a session or accepting these terms alone does not grant that permission. The booking form offers two separate, optional choices: recording for session records and quality review, and additional public use. Declining either does not prevent booking. We save the wording and date of your choices; a policy change does not expand earlier permission.

If you separately allow public use, you grant Brews and Bloom non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to edit, excerpt, reproduce, and publish the permitted session recording, including your voice and image, on its website, social channels, and other materials for lawful business, promotional, or educational purposes. You receive no payment for these uses. Edits must not misrepresent what you said. Your permission covers you only; every participant must agree before recording or public use. The private written booking question and private feedback are not included in this release.

You can ask to stop recording and contact dylan@brews-and-bloom.com to withdraw permission for future use. We will stop new uses and remove copies we control where reasonably possible, but copies already shared by others may remain. Guests who wish to record must also obtain every participant's agreement. These choices do not give anyone permission to publish another person's private information without that person's agreement.

Instant readings, what they are and aren't

An instant reading is written automatically by the site the moment you ask, the deck is shuffled, your cards are drawn, and an interpretation is composed in Dylan's voice using the same voice guide that shapes every piece of writing here. It is generated by software, not delivered live by a person.

These readings:

• Are reflective, not predictive. They describe the present and what's underneath it, not what will happen next.
• Are generated by software. Dylan has shaped the voice and tone; the words themselves are composed automatically.
• Are delivered as a private share-token URL.
• Are intended for entertainment and reflective practice. They are not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. See the disclaimer section below.

A reading is considered delivered when the share-token URL is generated and the link sent or shown.

Dream interpretation, what it is and isn't

The instant dream interpretation service works the same way: you submit your dream text, the site composes an interpretation in Dylan's voice, and the result is delivered as a private share-token URL.

The interpretation is one possible reading of the symbols in your dream, written in a reflective voice. It is not psychological diagnosis, not medical advice, not a prediction. If your dreams are recurring, distressing, or interfering with your life, please consider speaking with a licensed mental health professional.

Shop products

We try to describe our decks and prints honestly, card counts, sizes, stock weights, finishes. Printed items vary a little: color shifts slightly between print runs and between your screen and paper. We treat reasonable variation as part of the goods being real, not as a defect.

Physical decks and prints are printed to order. Production begins after the order and payment are confirmed, and they typically ship in 2–3 weeks after that confirmation. Because each copy is made for you, returns are limited to damaged, defective, or misdescribed items. See the Refunds Policy for full details.

Intellectual property

Most of the writing on the site, card meanings, blog posts, instant readings, dream interpretations, product descriptions, this document, is created by or for Dylan and is © Brews and Bloom. You may quote short passages with attribution. Search engines and assistants may discover public pages and help a person request an appointment through our documented booking flow, subject to rate limits and that person’s permission. This does not authorize bulk republication, model training, or access to private records.

Card art used in the site's tarot tools is licensed from its creators (where applicable), used under public-domain terms (for historic decks), or original work commissioned for Brews and Bloom. The license terms for each deck are noted on its detail page. Buying a reading does not transfer card-art rights to you.

Your instant reading or dream interpretation, once delivered, is yours to keep, share, print, journal with, tattoo, frame on the wall, it was written for you. We retain the right to use anonymized excerpts for training the site's own prompts or for marketing only with your explicit permission.

User-submitted content

When you deliberately submit content for public display, you grant Brews and Bloom a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display the public version in the places described by your permission. You keep your copyright. Private booking questions, private survey answers, and private feedback are not public submissions. We need your separate approval before turning private feedback into a public review. Public reviews display only your chosen rating, public text, and display name after moderation.

Don't submit content that isn't yours, that contains private information about other people who haven't consented, or that violates the Prohibited uses section below. We may edit, decline, or remove submitted content at our discretion.

Prohibited uses

Don't use the site to:

• Harass, threaten, or harm another person.
• Submit dream text, reading questions, reviews, or any other content that contains personal information about a third party who has not consented.
• Attempt to break or overload the site, bypass rate limits, harvest private records, or make bookings without the person’s permission.
• Resell instant readings, dream interpretations, or other digital goods as your own.
• Use the site's writing or art to train machine-learning or automated models without written permission.
• Use the site to commit fraud, money laundering, or any other illegal activity.

We may suspend or close access, with or without notice, for anyone who breaks these rules.

Disclaimers

Brews and Bloom is offered for entertainment and reflective practice. Tarot, dream interpretation, runes, the I Ching, birth charts, and the rest of the divinatory tools on the site are not a substitute for advice from a doctor, therapist, lawyer, financial professional, or any other qualified professional. They will not diagnose an illness, predict the future, or tell you what to do with your life. If you're in crisis or facing a serious decision, please talk to someone qualified to help.

The site is provided as-is and as-available. We try hard to keep it accurate and online, but we don't promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly secure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

If you are in immediate danger to yourself or others, please contact your local emergency services. In the US you can call or text 988 for mental health crisis support.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brews and Bloom, Dylan W. LaRue, and anyone who works on the site will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, lost profits, lost data, lost time, emotional distress, or anything like that. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms or your use of the site will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or fifty US dollars, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations. In those places, the limitations apply to the maximum extent allowed and don't apply where the law forbids them.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless Brews and Bloom, Dylan W. LaRue, and the people who help run the site from any claim, loss, or demand made by a third party arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site. We will tell you promptly if a claim is made, and you may take part in the defense at your own expense.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Dylan is resident at the time the dispute arises, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by writing to us first will be brought in the state or federal courts located in that state, and both you and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Before filing a formal claim, please write to dylan@brews-and-bloom.com with a clear description of the problem. We will read it, respond, and try in good faith to resolve it within thirty days.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the site changes meaningfully, new services, new payment processors, new product categories, changes to the law. When we do, the Effective date at the top of the page will change. If a change is significant, we will also email people on the newsletter or post a notice on the site. Your continued use of the site after the change takes effect counts as acceptance of the new terms.
