A reading-room window onto the sky
Mystic Cards
A Mystic Card takes the constellation riding highest over you right now, where you stand, and hands you the old Greek myth behind its name — painted in our own hand, with the constellation's realstars laid over it in their true positions. Draw what's near, or draw at random.
It isn't a fortune. It's an invitation — sit with an ancient story for a minute and notice what it echoes in your own week. The constellation overhead changes through the night and the seasons; or pick any of the 33 below.

Astraea
the last just goddess
Astraea was the last of the immortals to walk on earth at the end of the Golden Age. When humans grew cruel she finally left, taking her scales with her. She is now Virgo, with a sheaf of wheat in her hand — the harvest of a world that was kinder once. She is waiting.
Sit with it for a moment. Where does this old story echo in your own week — the same boast, the same crossing, the same rescue arriving at the wrong moment and turning it right?
