Seven cups crowd the shelf, each one steeping something different, and the steam from all of them tangles in the dim. This is the moment of too many choices, and most of them are only smoke. Sit a minute and notice which cup is a real pour and which is just the dream of one. You don't have to drink from all of them.

Reversed

The steam clears and the cups thin out, and you finally see which was a daydream, which was a snare, which one you can actually lift. Decision time, at last, but don't pour out every dream in the name of being sensible. A little dreaming still warms you.

In the imagery

Seven cups sit along a dark wood shelf in the candlelight, each holding a different brew, one curling with sweetness, one gone bitter, one with something coiled at the bottom.
