Upright
A young one lingers by the shelf with a cup in both hands, and something small surfaces in it, a feeling that arrived without warning. This is a little message from the heart, an odd creative nudge, an intuition that hasn't found its words yet. Don't rush to explain it away. Hold the cup near the candle and let the small thing speak.
Reversed
The young one sulks in the corner, the cup set down and turned away, moodiness and a creative block that won't admit it's mostly fear of being seen. Or it's the slipping off into daydream because the real room feels too sharp. The card asks for honesty about what you actually feel, said plainly, even if plainly is small.
In the imagery
A young figure in deep blue stands in the candlelit apothecary, cradling a cup with something faintly stirring at its surface, dried botanicals hung soft behind them. The light is gentle, the moment private and unhurried. The painting shows the tender beginning of a feeling, the heart's first small word before the mind can dress it up.
