A figure on a hill defends with one wand against six rising from below. The Seven of Wands is the stand. You've made it this far, and now the pushback comes. The card asks you to hold your ground without becoming bitter about having to hold it. You don't have to win every challenge. You only have to not abandon what you said was true. Plant your feet. The high ground is yours.

Reversed

The defender exhausted. The Seven of Wands reversed is the moment the fight has gone on too long — you're not sure why you're still defending, or whether the position is worth it anymore. Sometimes the card asks you to lay down the wand. Sometimes it asks you to find your footing again. Either is honest. Just don't stay swinging out of habit.
