Upright
This is the feast the work was always for, the homecoming, the milestone that finally tastes like something. The doorway is dressed and the room is full and warm. Mark it while it is here. Pour the good cup, set out the bread, let the people you love stand in the light with you, the card asks you to honor the good thing out loud, while it is still warm in your hands.
Reversed
The garland still hangs, but the room has gone a little hollow, the celebration that doesn't quite land or quite hold. Maybe the home feels unsteady, maybe the joy won't outlast the week. Look close at what is truly being honored here, and whether it is still yours to honor.
In the imagery
Four wands stand at the corners of the apothecary doorway, wound with dried marigold and grape vine and trailing ribbon, and inside the candles are lit and the long table is set with cups and steaming pots. Two figures lift bouquets of herbs in welcome at the threshold. The dressed door, the laid table, the warm gold light say plainly, come in, the work has become a feast, and the feast is for you.
