Upright
It looks like a fight, but mostly it is a muddle, five voices swinging at five different targets and none of them landing. The meeting where everyone talks past each other, the table where every hand pulls a different way. Slow down. Set down the cups and actually hear what each person is reaching for, the heat is real and useful, it simply has not found its aim yet.
Reversed
The swinging stops, sometimes because the matter is settled, sometimes because you have quietly stopped showing up. If the tangle is truly worked through, good. If you went silent only to keep the peace, come back, some friction was making something, do not smother it under politeness.
In the imagery
Five bundles of dried herbs and wands lie scattered and crossed on the dark worktable, knocked loose, each pointing a different way in the low candlelight, a spilled tin, a tangle of twine. Nothing matches, nothing is aimed. The crossed bundles and the cluttered table show the meaning, this is noise and crossed purpose, energy that has not yet been gathered into one direction.
