Upright

A young one leans into the lamplight at the worktable, a thin blade catching the candle, eyes bright over a page of notes. The Page of Swords is the mind woken up and listening, alert to every new thing that comes through the door. Something has arrived to learn, a word overheard, a question that won't let the tea go cold, and the card asks you to stay sharp without letting the sharpness make you hard.

Reversed

The blade turned to gossip now, half-truths passed across the counter like loose change, or a mind that won't stop circling its own worry late into the dark. Ask what you're truly trying to learn, and whether the way you're going about it is kind to you.

In the imagery

Behind the dark-wood shelves a young figure stands with a small knife held up to the candle, the flame quivering as if a draft has just slipped under the door. Loose papers and dried thistle scatter the table, and a teacup sits forgotten and skinned over. The unsettled air carries the restless, watchful curiosity of the card, a mind catching every small sound in the hush.
