Upright
An armored figure on a rearing horse, wand held high, salamanders on his tunic. The Knight of Wands is the moment you say yes and move — boldly, maybe a little recklessly, definitely without all the information. The card honors the leap. There's no other way to start some things. Charge the hill. Just don't be surprised if you have to back up later and pick something up you dropped.
Reversed
Same charge, same wand, but the horse won't go. Or it goes in the wrong direction. The Knight of Wands reversed is impulse without follow-through, anger that flares and burns the wrong thing, the energy that scatters when it should focus. Sometimes it's delay — the charge that's been postponed so many times the fire's gone out. The card asks for steadier hands and clearer aim.
