Upright
A knight on a white charging horse, sword raised, cape flying. The Knight of Swords is action with conviction — the argument made cleanly, the decision pushed through. The card honors the directness. Some situations need the charge. Just notice the horse is moving fast. You can't always pull up in time if you find out you were headed the wrong way.
Reversed
The same charge, but reckless. The Knight of Swords reversed is the bluntness that hurts the people it didn't need to, the argument won that cost the relationship. Sometimes it's the opposite: the energy stalled, the decision postponed, the patience gone. The card asks for sharpness with kindness. Both are possible. Most days, both are necessary.
