Upright
A figure in a tall hat juggles two pentacles inside an infinity loop. Behind him, ships ride two great waves. The Two of Pentacles is the juggle — the demands of an actual life, kept moving by attention and adjustment. The card doesn't pretend it's restful. It just honors the skill of staying upright. Notice what you're keeping in the air. Notice what's allowed to drop.
Reversed
A coin hits the ground. The Two of Pentacles reversed is overwhelm — too many obligations, not enough hands. Sometimes it's the opposite: you've gotten so used to juggling you've forgotten you could put some of it down. The card asks which balls are glass and which are rubber. Drop the rubber ones. Carry only what would shatter.
