Upright
You hold what's yours close to the chest, and there's no shame in that, the cellar stocked, the door bolted, the season survived. But notice if the grip has gone so tight nothing moves, no warmth in, no coin out, no breath. Keeping what you've earned is fair. Squeezing the life from it is another thing.
Reversed
The fingers loosen, or give out all at once, generous, sometimes reckless. Look honestly at how you hold money, safety, the things on your shelf. Are you hoarding because you remember the empty cupboard, or spending because the full one feels heavy?
In the imagery
A figure sits hunched at the closed end of the apothecary, arms wrapped around a single sealed jar, two more locked beneath the boots, one balanced on the head like a worry. The candle is guttering low and the green velvet curtain is drawn against the dusk. Every coin-bright jar is held, none shared, the whole posture a fist closed around what little warmth is left.
