Upright
Two figures in tattered clothing trudge through snow past a lit stained-glass window. The Five of Pentacles is hardship and exclusion — the moment you feel locked out of warmth that's right there. The card doesn't pretend the cold isn't real. It just asks you to notice the window. Help is close. Sometimes the work is to go in.
Reversed
The figures going in. The Five of Pentacles reversed is the recovery, the asking for help, the realization that the door was unlocked the whole time. Sometimes the card is also spiritual abundance even in material lack — the warmth that lives somewhere other than your bank account. The card asks where you've been refusing what's offered, and why.
