Dreaming of wings
Read two ways. Let them disagree, the truth often sits between.

Drawn up, it speaks of Wings foretell travel and escape from difficulty, and the interpreters held them best for the poor and the bound, for whom rising is pure gain.
Drawn down, it warns of Wings that molt or fail mid-air predict a journey delayed and hopes that lifted too early, the dreamer should secure the road before trusting the sky.

Drawn up, it speaks of Wings growing from your own back are the transcendent function at work, the psyche finding a way over a problem it could not walk through. Something in you is outgrowing the old enclosure.
Drawn down, it warns of Melting, clipped, or borrowed wings are inflation, the Icarus moment, rising on an idea of yourself rather than the earned thing. The fall is not punishment, it is the ground asking to be included.
