Drawn down, it warns of A shuttered or broken window warns of a household closing in on itself, or of a watcher near your affairs who sees more than you show.
Jungian · the collective unconscious
Drawn up, it speaks of The window is the psyche's way of seeing without yet stepping through, light let into a closed room. A clean bright window means perspective, the ability to look out at your own life from a little way inside it.
Drawn down, it warns of A curtained or painted-shut window is a view being refused, a room of the self kept dim on purpose. Watching your life through glass, unable to touch it, is presence postponed.
