Dreaming of Window
Two traditional perspectives
These are symbolic interpretations from different traditions, not facts about your life or forecasts. Your associations may be different.
Artemidorus · Oneirocritica
To look out a bright window foretells opportunity glimpsed and news arriving from without; open windows denote a house at ease with the world.
A shuttered or broken window warns of a household closing in on itself, or of a watcher near your affairs who sees more than you show.
Jungian · the collective unconscious
The window is the psyche's way of seeing without yet stepping through, light let into a closed room. A clean bright window means perspective, the ability to look out at your own life from a little way inside it.
A curtained or painted-shut window is a view being refused, a room of the self kept dim on purpose. Watching your life through glass, unable to touch it, is presence postponed.
a few quiet questions
A gentle guided reflection
Start wherever you like and skip anything that does not fit. Your notes stay in this page while it is open. They are not sent or saved automatically, and leave with the page when you close or reload it.
To keep your reflection, copy it and paste it into your dream journal (opens in a new tab). Saving there is your choice and requires an account. You can also paste it into your own notebook or notes app.
There is room for the whole story
