Dreaming of Telephone
Two traditional perspectives
These are symbolic interpretations from different traditions, not facts about your life or forecasts. Your associations may be different.
Artemidorus · Oneirocritica
To hear a clear voice from far away foretells news of an absent friend, and reconciliation with one long silent.
A voice that cannot be understood, or a call cut short, warns of a misunderstanding traveling between houses, words arriving twisted from how they left.
Jungian · the collective unconscious
The telephone is the line between the conscious mind and everything it can't see, voices arriving without bodies. A call that connects means a part of you long out of reach has found your number.
A phone that won't dial, a call that keeps dropping, is a message from inside failing to get through, most often because the waking self keeps the line busy.

A gentle guided reflection
Start wherever you like and skip anything that does not fit. Your notes stay in this page while it is open. They are not sent or saved automatically, and leave with the page when you close or reload it.
To keep your reflection, copy it and paste it into your dream journal (opens in a new tab). Saving there is your choice and requires an account. You can also paste it into your own notebook or notes app.
There is room for the whole story
Keep exploring, save a journal entry, or talk through your dream with Dylan.
