Drawn down, it warns of A sun darkened or setting at noon warns of loss touching the father or the master of the house, or the dimming of your own standing. Postpone what needs another's blessing.

Drawn up, it speaks of The sun is consciousness itself, the ego in its rightful warmth, what you know of yourself standing in plain light. Sunrise in a dream is a new attitude dawning, something coming up out of the dark half of you into the day.
Drawn down, it warns of A scorching sun is consciousness turned tyrant, the rational mind burning everything soft and green in the inner field. A sun that will not rise points to a heaviness the daylight self keeps refusing to name.
