Dreaming of Skin

Fair, unblemished skin signifies good repute, the dreamer's name is spoken well in the marketplace.

Diseased or marked skin foretells disgrace becoming visible, or a debt that can no longer be hidden from the neighbors.

Skin is the boundary between self and world, the living edge. Healthy skin, or skin shed like the snake sheds it, means the boundary is doing its work, or an old surface is being outgrown.

Torn, burning, or crawling skin points to a boundary violated, too much of the world getting in, too much of the self exposed. The persona has worn thin and the dreamer feels it everywhere.
