Dreaming of Searching

To search and find, a ring, a road, a familiar face, foretold recovery of what waking life had misplaced, goods, favor, affection. Finding at dawn was surest.

To search and not find warned of a suit or petition that stalls. The old interpreters asked first what was lost, the answer named where the trouble sat.

Searching dreams are the psyche in honest motion, you know something is missing and you have agreed to look. That agreement is half the finding.

Searching for the same lost thing night after night is a mourning that has not been allowed in daylight. The dream will stop asking when you start grieving.
