Dreaming of crown

Read two ways. Let them disagree, the truth often sits between.

Artemidorus · Oneirocritica

Drawn up, it speaks of To be crowned, or to wear gold on the head, foretells honor, promotion, and the goodwill of those above you. For the sick it can signal recovery, the head lifted again.

Drawn down, it warns of A crown slipping or taken from your head warns of standing lost, and to see another wear your crown denotes a rival advanced in your place.

Jungian · the collective unconscious

Drawn up, it speaks of The crown is authority settling onto the head that earned it, sovereignty over your own inner country. To be crowned in a dream is the psyche recognizing you have taken up rule of your own life.

Drawn down, it warns of A crown too heavy, or one you fear losing, is authority worn before it was grown into, worth measured only by what others bow to. Ask what you were before the weight.

Did you dream this?

Keep it before it fades

Write the dream down in your journal and the cards will name its symbols for you, or have the whole dream read in full.
