Dreaming of Church

To enter a temple and be welcomed foretells the favor of the gods and of those in authority, prayers answered in their season. To light a lamp or lay an offering within denotes a vow that will hold.

A temple defiled, dark, or falling warns of an obligation you have let lapse, a promise gone unkept. Being barred at the door signals petitions denied until amends are made.

The church is the psyche's sacred room, the part of you built for reverence whatever your daylight beliefs. Entering one at peace means the ego is in right relation with something larger than itself, the Self given its due.

A ruined or locked church is the holy function estranged, awe with nowhere to live. Feeling judged inside one points to a borrowed conscience, rules swallowed whole in childhood and never chewed.
