The Aspects
Planets don't act alone, they talk to each other across the wheel, and the angle between them sets the tone of the conversation. These five major aspects are the grammar of a chart.
conjunction
Two planets in the same place, their voices merged into one. Whatever they are, they are it together now, amplified, inseparable, hard to tell apart.
sextile
A friendly angle, an open door rather than a gift. The ease is there if you reach for it; left alone, it quietly passes.
square
A right angle, a grinding of gears. Squares are where the work is, the tension that makes you build something. Not a curse, a forge.
trine
The easiest angle of all, talent that comes so naturally you forget it's rare. The gift of a trine is real; the trap is taking it for granted.
opposition
Two planets facing each other across the wheel. You see one most clearly in the mirror of the other, a tug-of-war that, balanced, becomes perspective.
