Aphrodite thought of the cord. Give her that. With the monster coming and the river the only door, she took her son's hand and turned them both to fish, and in the last second before the water closed over them she tied their tails together, because dark water separates people, and she knew it. Love did not save them from the flight. It just made sure they surfaced together. That's the whole constellation, two fish, two directions, one knot. The knot is the point.
