Upright

The last jar is filled and labeled, the shelf is whole, and you can stand back and feel it. The World is completion, not the end of all trying but the close of one good chapter. You finished something, the body knows it. Don't rush to begin the next thing. Stand a while in the finished room. Look at what you made. The next door is there, and it will open when you're ready, the way it always does.

Reversed

The wreath of dried flowers is almost tied, one stem still loose. The World reversed is the cycle nearly closed but not quite, the last bill, the last conversation, the thing you keep walking past. There's a pull to call it done early. Don't. Tie the last stem so the next season has clean room to grow.

In the imagery

A finished wreath of green laurel and dried botanicals hangs in the center of the apothecary wall, tied top and bottom with deep red ribbon. Inside its ring the whole shelf glows in candlelight, every jar full, every herb hung and earned. At the four corners of the room a candle steadies and burns even, witnesses to the work, completion held in soft gold light.
