Upright

A figure dances inside a green wreath, draped in violet cloth, a wand in each hand. The four winged beings from the Wheel return at the corners. The World is completion — not the end of trying, but the end of a particular chapter. You finished something. You can feel it. Don't rush to start the next one. Stand inside the wreath. Look at what you made. Then, when you're ready, the next door will open. The Fool is right around the corner again.

Reversed

The wreath almost closed. The World reversed is the cycle that's almost done but not quite — the last bill, the last conversation, the last thing you've been avoiding. There's a temptation to declare victory early. Don't. The card asks for the final loop closed. Finish what you started so the next thing has room to begin clean.

In the imagery

A dancing figure floats inside a great oval wreath of green laurel tied with red ribbons at top and bottom. She wears only a violet sash and holds two short wands, one in each hand. At the four corners — a winged bull, a lion, an eagle, a winged human — the same beings from the Wheel of Fortune, now witnesses. Completion, witnessed.
