Upright
A dog and a wolf howling at the moon, a path winding between them out of a pool where a small crayfish is climbing. The Moon is the dream-half of your life — the fears that aren't quite real, the intuitions that are. This card is what you feel that you can't explain yet. Don't rush it. Don't talk yourself out of it. The path runs through. You don't have to see the end of it to keep walking.
Reversed
The fog lifting. The Moon reversed is the moment the thing that scared you turned out to be a coat on a chair, or the moment you finally said out loud what your gut had been muttering for months. Clarity, sometimes painful. Sometimes it's the opposite — the confusion has gone on so long you've stopped trusting yourself. Either way, ask the body. It knew first. It still does.
In the imagery
A large yellow moon hangs in a dark blue sky, a profile of a face within it. Below, a wolf on the left and a domesticated dog on the right both howl up at her. Between them, a small path winds back from a pool in the foreground out toward distant mountains. A crayfish climbs from the water onto the bank. Fifteen drops of dew fall from the moon.
