Two cups set down on the dark wood, steam rising between them, and a choice sitting in the candlelight that won't be hurried. The Lovers is the moment of choosing said clearly, love sometimes, but underneath it any yes that asks you to know yourself first. Which life do you want, and which version of you has to be set down to have it. There is no wrong answer that is also an honest one.
Reversed
The choice you keep not making, the staying that feels easier than the leaving, the path someone else laid for you while you nodded. Hear both voices in the room, the dried bitter herb and the sweet one, and decide which of them is actually yours.
In the imagery
