If shadowed: A black bird settling on the roof was considered ill-fated — death in the household or grave news.

If favorable: Clear eyes denote a guide arriving — a child, a teacher, the eye of someone who sees you well.
If shadowed: Blindness in a dream is a warning to attend the household; eyes wounded signal a child or kin endangered.
