Not in the medieval pharmacopeia — lepidolite was identified in the eighteenth century — but the lithium content (the same mineral modern medicine uses for mood) is real. A stone that does what it says. Steadies mood. Useful in the middle of a panic spiral; weighty, smooth, made for the hand.
